I am writing to thank you, your crew and subcontractors for the excellent renovation of my house. We've been living here since summer, so we've had a chance to appreciate this now very livable place. Your company consulted with designer Sara Jaffe and executed her designs faithfully, solving whatever problems and contingencies that arose. (I treasure the cat door and the whirlpool tub access!) The mistakes of the past fix-its and inexpert remodeling from the 1970's disappeared under impeccable workmanship.[...]
Your crew led by Keith was outstanding, not to mention very friendly, conscientious, hardworking and considerate. The neighbors all remarked on how nice they were! .... Perhaps the most sensitive area of the renovation was the 1939 redwood walls in my living and dining room. These walls could easily have been ruined by another less accomplished contractor and crew, sacrificing distinguishing features of the house that are responsible for its charm. Your world-class carpenter made the new kitchen entry area from redwood panels he refurbished from the demolition in the dining room. Window trim was also made from salvaged redwood from the demolition. [...] It looks great! Care, attention and effort were paid to achieve the results in which I am now delighted to live.
The electrical and plumbing subcontractors did first rate work. The cabinetry in the kitchen and dining room is of especially high quality. The tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen and the granite counter are also lovely.[...] The problematic back porch that rotted every ten years is now beautiful and composed of nearly impervious wood. I could go on , but I think I made the point that the renovation was done by a contractor and workmen who are sensitive to the client and willing to go an extra mile to achieve results that are more than just satisfactory. I think I got what I paid for plus very high quality workmanship that is beautiful in and of itself.
